The laboratory of plant stress tolerance
We are investigating molecular mechanisms of plant rsistance to enviromental unfavorable factors. There are two main directions: looking for genes, which involved in resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and genome editing in order to increase crop adaptability.
Our work is supported by grants of Russian Science Foundation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Comprehensive Research Program “Development of Potato Breeding and Seed Production”.
Marter and Bachelor students who are intrested in science and want to lern modern methods of genetic ingineering and molecular biology are welcome. Here you can gain a lab expirience, perform a high-level degree work and present your results in international conferences.
